i just bought a 1983 les paul studio, im trying to find anyone who has on like this or has any info, i think its a little rare, i believe its a studio custom, cause it has a carved maple top that looks like slashes appatite for des. model with the ivory binding on neck and body, it also has dot inlays on a ebony board and the gibson logo is mother of pearl, plus this thing is super light not over 7lbs 0oz its at least 1/4in thinner than my 93 studio thats 9lbs, any info would be a big help the last 3 of the vin are 537 it was made in memphis thanks brett.
