Kenny Wayne Shepherd is an amazing talent that broke onto the scene back in 1995 with his debut album ‘Ledbetter Heights,’which subsequently went platinum. He holds the record for the longest running album on Billboard’s Blues Charts with 1997’s “Trouble Is…”

Currently KWS has been on tour with Experience Hendrix and has been ripping it up and stealing the show on most nights with his amazing renditions of various Hendrix tunes.

His newest effort, ‘Live in Chicago,’ was released on 9/28/2010 and Backstageaxxess.com talked to him about his need to do a live album. They also asked him about how he got involved with this tour and his thoughts on playing Jimi’s original Fender Stratocaster which was used at Woodstock.
