Some of my personal gear… both past and present! (I will keep working on this over time…)

PRESENT…..

The latest addition to my axe collection, a Gibson Custom Shop ES-356 with a Bigsby Trem. If you think it looks cool, you should hear how it sounds!

PAST…….

Gibson Les Paul Supreme. Affectionately called “Amber”.

Heritage Prospect. I wish I would have never sold this one… it took over a year to find a suitable replacement (the Gibson CS-356)

It’s not always electric at GuitarDaddy’s house…

PRS McCarty

Taylor T3

It made me smile when you said I shouldn’t have let this one go..

    I have one I know I will never let go: a 1951 ES175 with P90

Last year I recorded an album called ’51 the year me and the guitar were born!

There are actually several I wish I had never let go….and several that I wish I had never bought. Guitars are funny that way.

Dare you say which ones you wish you hadn’t bought?

OR are they still up for sale . . . :-)

There are actually several – maybe even a dozen. Most are sold through eBay – which is also where most have been purchased… so if you buy it right, it’s easy to sell it when it isn’t exactly what you thought it would be – without losing your shirt in the process…. The most recent was a 2008 Fender American Standard Strat SSH – after playing it for 3 days I said “it’s just a strat like the other 145,000++ strats out there…” so I sold it. Took the money and bought a Taylor Solidbody SSH. That one will stay in the barn for many years (I think…)

Is the T3 really as versatile as they make out? Or is it to much of a compromise?
