This is not a Political post. This is a Patriotic post.

I was born and raised in the United States and am very proud of my country — even more so today than ever.

I am thankful and respectful of George W. Bush for his 8 years of leadership of our nation.

Tomorrow, at 12:00 EST, Barack Obama will become the 44th President of the United States and the first African-American to hold the highest office in our land.

On this eve of the most historic Presidential Inauguration in my lifetime, it seemed appropriate to me to devote this blog entry to something Presidential, while still maintaining a “Guitar Theme”.

Many of you have already seen and heard the song “Dear Mr. President” by Pink. The lyrics are quite stirring. This particular rendition includes a beautiful classical guitar accompaniment by Eliza Gabriel and I believe it is worthy of permanent placement right here on the GuitarBUZZ.

While this video includes photos and references to the Bush Presidency, my personal interpretation of the song’s message applies to whoever holds the office, and I pray that our next President will address these issues expeditiously.

On this day and at this moment, please join with me in supporting the next President of the United States of America, Barack Obama.
