508 Park Avenue Update:

The story continues to evolve… and I am happy to announce that the results are in our favor!
The city’s Landmark Commission unanimously denied a request by Colby Properties to tear down 508 Park Avenue based on its “imminent threat to public health and safety.”

It’s a win for Robert Johnson, and a win for what many believe is the birthplace of the Blues and modern day Rock ‘n Roll.










Yesterday, the Landmark Commission of the City of Dallas approved the plans that First Presbyterian Church/The Stewpot proposed for 508 Building and the adjoining building/spaces, which include placing an outdoor amphitheater next to the Johnson building for community events.
