Gary went on to say: “The Blues has always been near and dear to my heart, I have so much respect for it. When I’m recording a blues song, it’s a 5 minute journey and you can’t take a breath, you can’t keep punching in the recording button to fix stuff or it loses the vibe. So…you have to go for it like it’s a live performance, and hope you land on your feet. If you love the blues as much as I do this album will be right up your alley. If your new to the blues this is a great intro with a modern twist. (plus I borrowed from all the best, BB King, Albert King, Freddie King and even Burger King) I’m playing some slide songs in Open E-tuning which I’m having a blast with, acoustic blues, slow dirty blues, and some fun Texas style ala SRV…
