Very cool – great site. Love the backing tracks!
Hi Guitardaddy,
Welcome back from NAMM. I can only imagine how much fun that must have been!
I have a question on the new backing tracks…
Are we able to use these backing tracks with an iPad?
Thanks
Andrew – NAMM was a blast – always is. Imaging going to a large shopping mall and EVERY STORE was a MUSIC STORE. Then imaging 6 or 7 malls like that all built on the same street. That’s NAMM. I will post a lot more over the next few weeks as I start to settle back in to the normal routine.
Regarding the Backing Tracks, YES they will play on your iPad. I just tested them on mine. They only thing to be aware of is there are TWO ways to play the tracks, one is with a FLASH PLAYER which, as most iPad used are aware, is not supported on Apple IOS Devices. So rather than clicking (or touching) the “Click to Play”, you just touch the “Download” link and the track will download into the player on your iPad.
Thanks for bringing that to my attention – even though it works as described above, that is not optimal for iPad users. When the backing track site was built, iPads were not as ubiquitous as they are today. I will work on an update that will provide smoother results for iPad users.
